The European Network of Equality Bodies, Equinet, held an online round table on 11 October.

The focus was on the role of Equality Bodies in the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan.

FRA presented its work in relation to the pillar of social rights and the implications for fundamental rights. FRA highlighted the need to strengthen a rights holder approach in all social policy measures. It spoke about the need for Member States and institutions to broaden engagement to remote regions and outside larger cities. It also covered regular collection of equality data and close monitoring of EU funds through statutory human rights bodies.
